Parents and Teachers' Association
The Parents and Teachers' Association (PTA) is the formal partnership between the homes our learners come from and the staff who teach them. A school can only do half the work; the PTA exists so that the other half is done deliberately rather than by chance.
What the PTA does
- Meets each term to review academic progress, welfare and discipline.
- Supports infrastructure and learning projects the government vote does not cover.
- Provides a channel for parents to raise concerns and proposals with the administration.
- Helps organise visitation days, prize-giving and college functions.
Getting involved
Every parent or guardian with a learner at the college is a member. Meeting dates are communicated through the college calendar and through learners at the start of each term.
