Message from the Head Teacher

Dear parents, learners and friends of Kiira College Butiki,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our college. Kiira College Butiki has, over many years, built a reputation founded on two words that sit on our crest: discipline and hardwork. They are not decoration. They describe how we teach, how we learn and how we expect every member of this community to conduct themselves.

We are investing steadily in the environment our learners work in — a new classroom block, a modern science laboratory, and teaching that puts the competence-based curriculum into practice rather than leaving it on paper. Our learners are proving what that investment makes possible, most recently on the international debating stage.

To parents: thank you for entrusting us with your children. To our learners: the opportunity in front of you is real, and it rewards those who work. To our alumni and partners: your continued support keeps this college moving forward.
